Montefalco Rosso Riserva Pipparello 2005: "In the summer of 2005, a year of balanced weather, it was not difficult to work the vineyards without systematic chemical treatments, resulting in a great year. The Pipparello vineyard, in the heart of the Montefalco region, is made up of 60% Sangiovese, 25% Montepulciano and 15% Sagrantino. The wine is fermented for 42 days on the skins, followed by aging for one year in stainless steel and two years in 2500L oak barrels. Use care when pouring, as no additives or stabilizers have been used and the wine will throw a natural sediment, showing that it is alive."
